He has been really interested in walking with help for quite some time. He will talk around with you holding onto his hands, or walk behind one of his little walker toys. He has also really been cruising everywhere for the past month.
Well, he apparently has gained more and more confidence over the past few weeks because he has been letting go and just standing a few times, only to squat to a crawl. Today, he was playing with the bathroom cabinets (which he loves!) and stood and did a 180. I decided I needed to go get the video camera.
Boy, am I glad I did. He then wanted to grab the camera, which is why he took his first steps! Here are a couple of videos (I apologize for the poor angles, and loud momma in the back ground :) ).
Now we'll see how long it takes him to really get the hang of it!

Susan, I enjoyed watching Owen take his first steps in that video. But I equally enjoyed your priceless reaction!
You hopefully felt like you were right there with me, especially since I'm so loud :)
