It's been a while since I had an entry, so I figured it was past time to write one (Heather motivated me with her new blog!). We have been somewhat busy for the past few weeks, but it has been mostly good things! Bill's parents came a few weeks ago for a long weekend. We had a great time while they were here, going to Duke Gardens, a Durham Bulls game, and just hung out on the back porch! We are actually heading to Florida to visit them this weekend for Mother's day. It will be nice to see everyone, since we haven't been down there since Christmas. I am sure the boys will be all grown up, especially Joshua.
We have been working a fair amount on several big projects. It is a good thing to have work, but sometimes I want a break! Just a week to not worry about anything!! I guess that isn't reality...We also celebrated Bill's birthday - the big 3-2! I took him to Parizade for dinner, and we had a nice time. I made him pound cake for his birthday - at his request, and I have to say, it was yummy! It was my mom's recipe and so I told him my mom was a part of making the cake, since she supplied the recipe :) Hopefully she wasn't looking down shaking her head at how I was measuring and mixing everything.
Like I said, this weekend we are going to Florida. It is supposed to be pretty hot down there, but I am really excited about that! His parents have a solar heated pool, so I am hoping it will be nice and warm. Cold water is just not any fun! :)
