Over Memorial Day weekend, we were able to go to Texas to visit my brother and his family and Alison and Tyler. Call us crazy, but we flew into Dallas and started driving to Houston, so that we could spend one night with Alison and Tyler. The Houston Astros were in town, so we went to a game and had a great time! The next morning we left pretty early to head up to Dallas to spend the remainder of our time with David and his family.
We had nice (but kind of hot) weather while we were there, so we were able to go to the pool, have a cookout, tour around David's campus and go on an enjoyable hike. We also went to the IMAX theater and saw a 'movie' on the Mission to Mars that took place in 2004. It was rather interesting and I think the kids really enjoyed it.
