"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength" Deuteronomy 6:5

Our little one :)

Our dog is just the most precious thing.  Cedar is our 15 (almost 16) year old toy poddle who is our little kid.  Recently, we have had to give him a little more attention since he is getting older.  But he still does really well and we try and keep him as young as we can :)

Cedar has a little basket in our room that he sleeps in at night.  Normally he is a really good sleeper, and ends up being the last one up in the morning.  Last night, he got in his basket and I had the light on reading (as I usually do).  He turned his head to look at me - he has these looks he gives us when he disapproves of something - obviously wanting me to turn off the light.  This happens quite frequently, but last night I just couldn't help but take a picture.

Doesn't that look just melt your heart??  It does me...

The funny thing is that if you don't do what he wants, he then will make noises and move around such that we know he is unhappy.  So, he started moving around and I got another picture of him in his unsettled state.

We so enjoy having him around (although I'm not sure I can say he feels the same way, ha!) and are so thankful for him.  Cedar, we love you little buddy!
