Happy Valentine's Day & weekend project!

Happy Valentine's Day!!  I hope everyone's day is filled with love.  Mine will be - finishing with a relaxing evening with the love of my life!  He surprised me with a bouquet of roses and chocolate yesterday :-)

This weekend, I was diligently working on a crafty project.  I have seen these block letters on etsy that people sell with whatever name, saying, word you want - and I thought it looked easy enough.  So I just had to try it. 

Instead of multiple wood blocks, I wanted one long piece of wood.  So, I asked Bill if he had any scrap pieces that I could test out my craftiness on.  So he brought an absolutely perfect piece of wood :-)  I decided to make it go with the time of the year - Valentine's Day. 

Here is a picture of the almost-finished product.  I need to put one final coat of the finish on it.  And to add to it I put it with the roses Bill gave me.
