My luck changed in 2009!!

I am officially a licensed engineer now!! I got my letter from the N.C. Board yesterday with the letter stating their congratulations. I ordered my stamp this morning and it should arrive next week.

I have to say that with a license comes great responsibility! Which is a great thing, but also a little nerve racking.

In other news, my dad retired a few months ago and we finally had the opportunity to celebrate as a family at the Angus Barn last weekend. Here are a few pictures...

What I think is really cool is that my dad is a P.E. (mechanical) and I found out 2 days before we celebrated his career that I am a P.E. now....so I can carry on the tradition in the family :)
