"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength" Deuteronomy 6:5

I have been a little slack here lately with updating the blog, but I am back! This past weekend, I had 7 of my neices and nephews over to spend the night - by myself. Bill had decided to go flyfishing over the weekend and I thought it would be a nice opportunity to have the kids over. I think my brothers thought I was nuts, having 7 kids the oldest 13 and the youngest 4. Anyways, so they came over Saturday evening, we had pizza, I had prepared a scavenger hunt, played 'ghost in the graveyard', played Wii (of course) and watched movies. It was a great time, the kids were great and had an awesome time playing together.

The contest was to see who could stay up the latest - well I would have to say that Elizabeth and Moriah (and maybe Micaiah) tied for staying up the longest....until 2:30 am! And that was after I basically told them to go to bed!! I could not believe that the girls outlasted the boys, and that even at 2:30 am they were still 'not tired'.
I'm sure Sunday was a rough day for them, but it was all worth it! Here are a few pictures from the night.

The kids on the couch with their scavenger hunt 'hint' cards.

The girls with their American Girls (and Cedar too!)

The boys playing the tennis game on the Wii - It's a tough game and Daniel was pretty good at it! I think he is better than his Aunt Susan
