I know it is hard to believe, but my oldest nephew just turned 13 on Friday. I can remember when he was born - and I was 13! So, he is half my age and is almost as tall as me too! His parents had a party for him with the family and we had a good time - he got a lot of money, which is what he wanted. We gave him a wallet to put all of his money in and $13 to help out with the important component of a wallet :)

David and Elijah - he is so cute and getting so big!

On Saturday, David and his family came over for one last visit before they were heading out of town. They came over in the afternoon and we fixed them ribs on the grill with some corn. The kids enjoyed playing the Wii - Nathanael especially - and the girls enjoyed playing with my American Dolls. It was fun, but the time went by way too fast. They left yesterday and we won't see them again until Christmas.
The kids piled on Uncle Bill and Aunt Susan :) Everyone smiling!
We are finally starting to consistently get some tomatoes in from the garden - at least 1 a day! It is pretty exciting and I really hope that we will get even more that that each day soon! Cedar is doing a good job watching out for wild creatures - like lizards and squirrels - that might be interested in trying some of our juicy red tomatoes.
