4th of July!

This year for the week of the 4th we were able to go to the beach with Bill's family for one weekend and mine the next. The weekend before the 4th we met his family at Sunset beach and spent several days lounging at the beach. The boys had a great time playing in the sand and surf and also in Uncle Billy's canoe. The hammock that hangs below the deck was also a great hit for everyone! After our beach time was over we all tailgated to Durham for a few days. We went to a Durham Bulls game which had fireworks afterwards. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

For the 4th of July, my family also went down to Sunset Beach. My entire family was down, including David and his family for a couple of days. It was a little crowded I must say, but it worked for the short amount of time we were all there. I think one of the favorite activities for my nephews was fishing of the dock. A funny little side note is that Aunt Susan tried it out and caught a fish within 10 minutes. Pretty funny... :) I will have to get the picture from my brother, since I didn't have my camera on the dock.
