First Nursery Pics!

Bill and I have been working hard to get things ready in the house, and last week was no exception.  Bill worked on painting the nursery and got that done.  Now it is starting to come together, so I took some pictures to share.  None of the sewing has been done yet, but at least some of the decor is coming together. 

The picture below is of the 'changing table'.  A good friend of mine (who has been on the lookout for stuff from different stores) found this whale pillow that went perfectly with our colors and theme, so I went and bought a few to use.  The basket is where the diapers, wipes and other fun changing equipment will stay and we will get one of those changing pads to put on the left side.  The whales on the dresser are the future wall art that will probably hang above the crib.

The other picture is of the rocking chair decked out with some of the other decor items that have been added to the mix.  Hopefully from the pictures you can see the room color too!  It is definitely blue, but a cool color that is actually pretty soothing.  Maybe little baby E will be soothed by it :)

I plan to start the sewing process in a few weeks and will update on how that is going as things progress.  But before that, I have a few more organizing projects to complete and then all my time will go into preparing the nursery!
