...and Everything in Between

A few nights ago, we went to dinner and bowling with some friends of ours. I sent out an evite to let people know about it a week early. Since my birthday was a week prior, I wanted to get people together, but with no agenda. I should have known it wasn't going to work out that way....

My Dad's birthday is right on the heels of mine. I was his 40th birthday present ....years ago :-) We got together at our house for a dinner celebration. The kids were really excited I think mainly for Christmas and it was Granddaddy who took on their excitement! After everyone left, I took a picture of Cedar under the Christmas tree. Maybe we will send it out as our Christmas card next year....

The kids gave him the NC State santa hat. I tried to get them to sit still for a second and catch a shot....somewhat successful

And now we are ready for Christmas. We have our office Christmas party that we are hosting at our house and then for Christmas we are relaxing at our house in the morning and then going to my Dad's in the afternoon. Fun times ahead...
